Speeding on River Road

Living just off River Road gives me a front row seat to driving behavior. I'm specifically referring to where people cross from Teaneck into Bogota: the speed limit decreases from 35 to 25. People don't often snow down to 25 when they enter Bogota. They either don't know about the lower speed limit or don't care to follow the law. Either way, people are rocketing down River Road towards the cross walk to the Park and the Fields. This is especially troublesome this time of year when BMS and BHS students are heading down to practices. And if the light at River Road and Main Street isn't red, now they're nearly at Steen School. I know we haven't seen a lot of incidents here on River Road, but adding deterrents to speeding can only have upside.
